Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is one of the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television series. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US in search of refugee status in order to remain. They raised her by two sisters who resided in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career by appearing in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada's portrayal as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara received her a nomination for Best Actress at film festivals. Her television credits include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells Psych Castle and Castle. She most recently played the role of a support character in Blood Shot (2009). She also appeared as an individual comedian in You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was first seen in the year 2008 as a part of General Hospital's primetime spin-off, General Hospital. In season 2 Night Shift, Ghanizada played the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra a holistic doctor. Ghanizada has appeared as Kelly on HBO's Entourage as well as joining on the team for the TV show's pilot Tough Trade created by Weeds creator Jenji Kuhan, and executive producers T Bone Burnett.
